WHAT: Rep. KC Tomlinson (R-Bucks) will host a press conference to unveil her legislation to strengthen the penalties for those convicted of sexual extortion when the extortion leads to serious bodily injury or death. Tomlinson crafted her legislation following the suicide of Lindsey Piccone.
Lindsey’s sexual predator harassed and threatened her until she sent him sexual photos in September 2016. She took her life shortly afterward, but her remains were not discovered until November 1, 2016. Her predator, caught last June by Bensalem Police, admitted harassing Lindsey. Several other victims have been linked to this individual, including girls as young as 12.
